Permission denied: failed to open stream .htaccess

    After activating the plugin on the website, I see this error
    fopen(/nas/content/live/wordpress-one/.htaccess): failed to open stream: Permission denied
    on every page request. I tried to change permission for .htaccess 644 to 666. I also tried to purge all the cache, but the error still shows.

    Hi @kuldeepupreti this is usually a permissions issue (as you noted). You may want to look into the owner of the file on the server as well (owner and group). Generally having the owner and group match the same owner and group of the wp-content folder will work. Our plugin does not change any permissions on any files.
