I have tried the Twenty-Twenty theme, with all other plugins deactivated, and still the “message” only shows while in Appearance>Customize, but not on any page outside of that on the live site.

I adjusted the CSS selectors in the plugin settings for the Twenty-Twenty theme, to “.post-inner .entry-content”, and tried many others.

I do NOT have the Coil browser extension installed, on purpose, since we are trying to reach people who have not yet joined Coil, and that is who the “message” is designed to address. I do suspect that not having the extension may be the reason the messages are not showing, however. Is that how the plugin is coded?

The js shown when doing a page source does not ever fire, apparently, which could be the cause of the problem as well.

Can someone direct me to a website where the “message” shows to the public correctly (even if they do not have the browser extension)? Because I’m beginning to think it just doesn’t work. I’d love to see a working example.

    Thank you.

  • Your issue is not the browser extension as I am running into the exact same issue while using the browser extension.

I wish someone from the plugin would respond, getting no help at all, even after writing them via email.

FYI to future viewers of this ticket.

This issue was resolved by the latest version of the plugin.
