This is a major bug and severely effected my business. I did not receive email requests from clients for a month. I’m a paying Astra user and I’m very disappointed in this.

You should have received an additional download for the Pro version. If you didn’t you can get the download here: https://wpdiscussionboard.com/account

Install the Pro plugin with the free plugin remaining installed and activate both. You will then be able to insert the license key in the settings.

We usually recommend that users try the free version before upgrading the Pro. We are not able to offer a free trial of the Pro version as we don’t have a way to manage this. Apologies for the late reply! I was away on vacation.

1. This is not something that is currently supported since it has not been requested yet. I will add it to our development backlog for future development.
2. Unfortunately not yet. This release will be a major upgrade of the plugin (bigger than anticipated at first) and will take sometime to complete.
3. This would need to be done using a custom implementation. It’s also something that I can add to our development backlog for future development.

This is not an issue that any of our other ~2000 users have which means the issue is specific to your web server. A 500 error occurs when the server throws an error due to something going wrong.

If you contact your web host, they can tell us what happened and why a 500 error was thrown. From there, we can determine what the issue is. It’s impossible to determine what went wrong on the server with the above error message. The web host needs to give us the information from the error logs.

This sounds like an issue that you need to raise with your web hosting provider. You will need to reach out to them and ask them why this error is being thrown when you add a topic. They should have logs available to identify what the issue is.

We currently do no offer the ability to upload files other than images. We may be able to add this feature in the future, but it’s currently not on the roadmap for development.

Are you able to click “Edit” on the pending user and then assign a role on the edit page?

This interface is a WordPress UI and not controlled by our plugin. Do you have any user management plugins installed or are you using standard WordPress user management?

We’ve had a number of people translate the plugin in to German but unfortunately, none of them have sent the translations back to us so that we can ship them with the plugin.

The language files are in the languages folder in the root of the plugin. There is a .pot file which can be used to generate the .po translation file and the compiled .mo file.
