    Since the latest Complianz update (v 4.9.5) this morning, the cookie banner appears several times in succession on different pages. This is very discouraging for website visitors. Any idea what might be triggering this behaviour?

    I can’t put my finger on it right away, but I have the impression that it has to do with the language settings. I have a bilingual website (NL standard, FR second language). At first sight the problem does not seem to occur on the FR pages, but only on the NL pages.

    I also notice that the cookie banner now shows the NL translation on the FR pages as well. Although all translations for both NL and FR are correctly set in String Translations.

    Goedemorgen @gkwadraat,

    Could you check incognito and clear cache?

    I see the cookies are set on the / path, meaning consent will work on both /, /nl/ and /fr/.

    Okay, it appear to have been a cache issue. I use WP Rocket to handle this. After removing the cache for all languages everything now seems to be back to normal.

    Hi,
    I have the same problem with my multi language site (nioorganics.com), the Dutch version works good, but at the English version the banner shows itselfs at every new page. Where can I check incognito and clear cache? Is it at the backofiice or Google chrome?

    Hi @mircarels,

    I can not reproduce this issue when visiting either the English or Dutch version of your site. To open Incognito/Private Browsing mode, press CTRL+SHIFT+N (Windows) or CMD+SHIFT+N (Mac).

    Let me know if the issue persists when you view your site in Incognito/Private Browsing mode.

    Hi Jarno,

    Thanks for your reply. When I view the site Incognito this issue is gone. But it’s still there when I visit the site (not incognito). Can you give a solution?

    Hi @mircarels,

    This is caused due to your browser’s cache. You could clear the cache via your browser settings, usually the same way as clearing cookies etc.
