Hi, @hayulthegoat.
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Posts Table with Search & Sort.
I’m afraid that the plugin doesn’t have an option to display/list a sticky post on top or in the first row of the table – thanks for asking about this! I have added it to our feature request list so that we can track the amount of demand for it. We will let you know if we add this to a future version of the plugin.
In the meantime, I’m sorry that this isn’t possible.
As an alternative, you could consider using Posts Table Pro, which has more sort_by options for you to choose from.
For example, you can use the sort_by="modified"
option in your [posts_table]
shortcode to sort the posts in the table by last modified date and then make your sticky post the last one you modified to list it at the top of the table.
I hope this makes sense and helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions. For quick reference, you can also browse our detailed and extensive plugin Knowledge Base articles and tutorials.
You can try our plugin on your site completely risk-free, and choose between a 14-day Free Trial or a full 30-day money back guarantee. The latter lets you buy the plugin and try it for up to a month, and get a full refund if you’re unhappy with it or if it doesn’t suit your needs. Should you have any questions or difficulty, just get in touch with our friendly support team and we’ll either help you out until you get the results you need or give you a swift refund.
When you’re ready, you can buy the plugin from this link: https://barn2.co.uk/wordpress-plugins/posts-table-pro/ .
I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now.
Best regards and keep safe,
