    i am receiving in my “orders” in the wordpress dashboard some orders that appear as cancelled. i can see what the details of the client and what he had in the cart but the clients do not submit the orders and the orders come through as cancelled. why is this happening? do i receive cancel orders from clients that just have their orders in their cart?

    i do not receive an email for these orders as the clients are not submitting them, i just see them as cancelled in my dashoard.

    Hi there,

    This usually happens when a customer is redirected to the payment gateway for payment but then cancels the order there. At that point, they’re redirected to your site’s cart page when they can work through the checkout process again (but that creates a cancelled order). With that being said, is this happening for *all* orders or just a few?

    also i do not have the cancelled order activated in emails so why is it sending

    Yes, that’s exactly right.

    Also, the notifications in WooCommerce > Settings > Emails control what emails are sent to you. They do not control whether an order is created in WooCommerce > Orders. An order is created as “Pending Payment” before the customer completes payment. If they cancel the payment, it then changes to Cancelled.
