Unable to regenerate thumbnalis
-
Hello,
I’d like your point of view about something that I did and that’s not working :
I am now working on a site that already exists and has a lot of unused plugins and stuff. So I decided to create a new and clean wordpress installation.
Then I added the pages for the new site, new plugins, and so on.
Eveything is fine. But I’d like to get the former blog content. So I exported the articles using WordPress export function, as well as the media files.
I got 2 xml files.
I imported the xml files related to the articles : it went ok.
Then I tried to import the other XML file to import media files and… I got some errors. I don’t remember the exact error but what i did is : i tried the import on my local site and itr worked fine.
So I decided to :
– Import the XML file on my local site
– Export the wp_posts of type attachment from my local site
– Copy the image files from the original site inside my new site wp-content/uploads directory
– Import the SQL dump containing the attachment records inside my new remote websiteEveything is ok now on my remote website : I can see all the media inside WordPress library. But there are no thumbnails displayed.
So I decided to install your plugin.
The problem is that I always get the same error :
ID de la pièce jointe ignorée 8724 (les-ultraViolettes) : L’image en taille réelle ne peut pas être trouvée dans votre répertoire ? uploads ? sur . Sans cela, de nouvelles miniatures d’images ne peuvent pas être générées.Which means :
ID of the attachment ignored 8724 (les-ultraViolettes) : The image in real size can’t be found in your directory “uploads” on . Without it, new thumbnails can’t be generated.
Do you see what could be the issue ?
I must say that the original fine IS located inside uploads directory.
But according to the error message, it seems to be something missing.Could you please help me ? I thought my procedure was ok but it doesn’t seem to be the case. What could be wrong ?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
