My home page pictures are from product pages I specifically use for the home page, and they SHOW that there is a nonscaled version of the photo, but unlike other media files, it won’t let me restore the file.

At the moment I cannot add new pictures due to “unable to write to disk” which I suspect might have something to do with it as well, it only popped up after I first regenerated thumbnails.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @katstatton

Since the plugin create all the selected sizes in the plugins settings, they may not look fine in the homepage slider with the added whitespace. Can you try to specify the image size in the homepage slider settings to full size?

Can you check your server error_log file for more details?
In the meantime, try to increase your server memory limit to at least 1024M (or 1G).

    Best regards,

Of course they don’t look good, I made those photos the correct size. It cropped half of them into squares, and the other half into some other rectangular size, so it wasn’t even consistent with those.

I do kinda wish I could tell it which pictures NOT to regenerate on (gallery photos, these ones, etc).

It can no longer do “full size” because the picture is now cropped, and there is no option to restore the original image (on another product page it let me do so).

What logs am I looking at? There is nothing obvious.

The plugin doesn’t alter original photos, what slider plugin you’re using so I can check for you.

If should be inside your server public_html or www folder.

I believe it’s the original StyleShop theme that handles it. When I make a new one, it automatically regenerates the thumbnails – is there a way for me to exclude certain things? I understand you can pick which thumbnails, but certain products I don’t want it.

It just didn’t show any errors. I’m not sure what happened, it looks like it fixed itself, but I’m concerned now about regenerating in case it happens again. If it does, I’ll let you know . .

That link was accidental, it’s the front page that’s the issue here.
