How to shorten URLs?

    Hi, how do I shorten this URL (delete “short-sale-center”)?

    i don’t know how to doit except use some wp_rewrite rule. But i’m warned that it can make wordpress have difficulty to show the right post.

    for example, when your category url (this url based on your catgeory name) has the same name with your post title. then what do you thing happen ? which kontent will be shown ? the category or the post ?

    I have experience this on previous wordpress version. and i think it will be awful.

    just use /%postname%/ or what we call usually the pretty link.

    So as long as i am careful not to create two identical urls, I should be fine with wp_rewrite?

    yes, i believe you will be fine. you can start reading wp_rewrite
