rtMedia Uploader on bbPress topic

    I want to create a topic on bbPress with rtMedia uploader.
    But when I added the shortcode, “[rtmedia_uploader]” is displayed.

    Do I need to purchase bbPress Attachments?

    What I want to do is to create an uploader on top of the topic and image gallery on a following reply.

    Is it possible?

    Yes, you can try our bbPress Attachment plugin.

    rtMedia bbPress Attachment addons add the rtMedia Uploader to bbPress posts. This allows your users to easily add media to their conversations and view those in the media in their conversations.

    Hi,

    I have purchased the bbPress Attachment plugin and now I can upload images on bbPress topics.

    I want to create a gallery that displays images posted on a topic.
    How can I display images from one topic?

    Hi @ouka1102,

    Sorry for the delay in response. You can try adding rtmedia_gallery shortcode specifying the context as a topic and context_id your topic ID.

    Like example: [rtmedia_gallery context=topic context_id=<topic_ID>]

    By the way, I have disabled all plugins but rtMedia, bbPress and rtMedia bbPress Attachments are activated. Still, the result was the same.

    Seems like the shortcode is not working on the topics. I will share this query with my engineering team and look into the issue.

    I solved this problem by adding another plugin called bbPress Do Short Codes.

    There is another issue I want to solve.
    By the shortcode you gave me, only one image was displayed.
    I want all images of all replies in a topic to be displayed into one gallery.

    Is it possible to do this?

    The shortcode shared with you was specific to that particular topic as context and context_id was specified. It should show the images added to replies. Can you please try again?
