Are you trying to edit the blog page?
If so, Please note that the Posts ( Blog archive ) page (when you set it up as a Blog under Settings > Reading) is a page generated by WordPress according to a given template (theme). And to be able to modify the blog page there is a different method to do this using Elementor, instead of directly editing the page.
With the Elementor Pro theme builder feature, you can create your own archive template for Posts, Categories, Tags pages under Templates > Theme Builder > Archive. At the moment, this is the only right way of creating and customizing a Blog page with Elementor.

Once you set the conditions for your Archive template to display your posts on your blog page, and it will automatically replace the Default WP Blog page and it will be the template you created that will be displayed in your blog.
