    Hi,

I have 2 issues that I would like to resolve:

    1) Is the edit dialogue that appears on the page, I am not sure whether or not its just the view from my PC (cos I am looged innto wp-admin) or not but I can see the edit button at the top of the blog how can I make sure users seeing the blog cannot access this.

    2) When I upload a video as per the instructions all I see is the actual code I have inserted rather than the utube video why is this.

Many thanks in advance for your help,
    John.

Thanks Samboll, was a little worried none admins could edit, thanks for clarifying.

As far as the video is concerned at the moment I am just experimenting with a utube video, I have tried to use the ‘Add video’ icon above the content box, once in this dialogue button I have tried entering the video into the add video from a url, then include the utube path to the video.
in the video url field When I do this I just see some of the utube file extension?

    Thanks,
    John.

    Hi,

I did see another link in one of the forums and that mentioned using the ‘insert/edit embedded media’ icon to insert the video image. That did work okay for a standard utube video and that is definately a way of inserting utube vids.

But I was wondering how you go about inserting a standard flash (.flv) video into the Blog.

    Thanks,
    John.
