I have a real estate site which is pulling updating MLS data throughout the day and consists of over 200 properties which all have individual property pages with multiple images. When I initially setup WP Super Cache it seemed to be doing an excellent job of speeding up the site, however, I keep getting 502 errors on the site because my server RAM keeps getting overloaded with high I/O (input/output) operations. I’m assuming that this is due to the caching of so many pages. Do you have any recommendations on the best way to remedy this issue?

Reduce the number of cached pages – set the garbage collection timeout lower, and increase the frequency of garbage collection checks.

However, 200 pages isn’t that much. Maybe your server needs to be upgraded?

    Hello,
Thanks for your reply. I’ll give that a try. I meant to write 2000 pages not 200. My server is currently at 4 CPUs, 8 GB RAM, 70 GB SSD.
