[Plugin: Contact Form 7] phone field for contact form

    Insert this in the form area:

    <p>Your Phone Number<br />
    [text your-phone]</p>

    Then this in the message area: [your-phone]

    Hm, something is wrong somewhere so I’m trying to figure out if this is a user-end issue. Even without adding the phone field, the boxes and the field titles don’t line up at all. I’m using WP version 2.9.1. Could it be that Contact Form 7 requires me to do the upgrade?

    I doubt it. You might as well, though. You might have to play with the CSS to make it display correctly. You can get the element names by using the FireBug add-on for FireFox.
