Learnpress orders always stay pending?

    I have a question, when a student is to purchase a course, should the orders inside learnpress automictically change to completed?

    Or does it always have to be completed manually?

    If that is the case, this seems ridiculous as everything needs to be automictically done nowadays with online sales, as other wise students have to wait until I change manually status from pending to completed.

    I use woocommerce checkout, which completes after payment fine, and did so with WP courses plugin and give access automatically to my students after buying a course.

    Even using payal with just learnpress it still remains pending after purchased, so can someone please advise why it will not complete like woocommerce does and stays pending for me to have to login to complete the order manually?

    I think it comes to a setting of provider, a so-called “filter against guestbook spam”, where the IPN of PayPal was blocked. You can try to deactivate the setting. Here the problem is described (in german, you can use google transalte for translation):

    Hi thanks for your reply, but with woocommerce checkout it’s using a API connection to PayPal it does not use a standard PayPal connection. So IPN is not needed when using a API with PayPal so it seems your plugin has a flaw within it. Can you please look at fixing this please.

    I have asked support which I have paid support to look at this issue but not getting any reply why I’ve contacted in this support on WordPress instead. I’ve already asked woocommerce the same issue and they have said as there is no issue with woocommerce and it actually completes the orders fine after payment it has to do with the integration between the two plugins.
