    Hi,
    I have the same issue reported in the support forum some time ago re Confirmation of Cancellation.

    Admin and the e-mail address registered for an event receive the confirmation e-mail correctly from the autoresponder.

    But when a registered person tries to:

    1. Register again to the same event there is no error displayed saying “you are already registered for this event”. They are NOT allowed and this is set correctly in the general setting. A confirmation e-mail is sent out again to both Admin and e-mail address registered.
    (The event list only registers the person once which is good).

    2. Confirmation of Cancellation notice on screen or via e-mail not received. This is confusing as both Admin and e-mail address registered simply receive the Thank you for register e-mail from the autoresponder.
    (The event list ticks the check box for canceled and makes the spot available which is good).

    Do not post or ask for login information, even test IDs and test passwords.

    I will investigate what you describe on my test systems to see if I can replicate your issue and get back to you.

    Screen shots of the exact settings & error messages is useful.

    My apologies for sharing login information.

    I receive no error messages, only confirmation emails on registration, regardless of whether I book or cancel my email address at an event.

    You can use any image sharing service and paste the link.

    Make sure, if there is any sensitive info ( like your paypal account ) it is greyed out as it is public.

    This is when no payments processing it allows re-registration as the same person, this is because the event never gets confirmed as paid. If you manually set as ‘Paid’ they can’t re register. It is a bug however, so is fixed in the next release.

    2. Confirmation of Cancellation notice on screen or via e-mail not received. This is confusing as both Admin and e-mail address registered simply receive the Thank you for register e-mail from the autoresponder.

    This only happens if you do not tick ( and save )

    Use ‘Not Attending’ option to allow people to remove their names from the list. The plugin matches email addresses to identify the attendee.

    If that option is ticked the user get an on screen message You have been removed from the list, and the admin gets an email Registration Removal for ...

    There is no ‘attendee’ cancellation email – just admin notification.

    if you DO NOT tick – then yes – it is just like a registration so you get the thank you for registering messages. This is because it is simple a checkbox and the label can be changed to mean anything.

    The latest version should now fix the issue of free events allowing multiple registrations
