    Dear all
we just enabled apple pay with stripe. (currently disabled as we have some issues and because of plugin costs, we do not have a preview page, but we can enable it again as soon we got response.

The apple pay button on a single product shows up. First of all, in the apple popup it was stated, the shipping address would be wrong. So i entered manually a new shipping address which was already strange..

Now in the summary of the apple popup, I can see that taxes & shipping costs are not calculated based on the country location of shipping address.

Do you know how to fix this?

    Best regards and many thanks

    Hi @bahijach,

The plugin uses the WooCommerce cart to calculate all costs including taxes so it uses whatever settings you have configured in WooCommerce.

In your WooCommerce > Tax Settings how have you setup your tax calculation? Can you double-check that you have set it to calculate based on shipping country?

    Hi

thanks for your reply. Everything is setup correctly you can check it during normal checkout. If delivery adress is in DACH region (germany, austria, switzerland) its free delivery. on other countries its flatrate. if I put flatrate on the top of the list, apple uses that one. tax is same.

it seems like it doesnt really care about the adress? maybe its because the shop is german and the phone english?

no it is not about the language. we use geolocation for tracking users whish works fine. but doesnt seem to work when apple pay is activated.

Also that my delivery adress was marked as wrong is strange as I used my apple pay for other stuff which worked well

    Hi @bahijach

Regarding your shipping address sometimes the shipping validation for the address can fail because of the format your address is in.

For example, in WC the state code for Texas in the United States is TX but many people enter it as Texas so the plugin attempts to map the long value to the 2 character code. Perhaps that’s the case with your address?

    Hi @bahijach,

I am confused; your first support reply stated there was an issue with taxes and shipping options based on selected shipping address.

However the support thread you just linked to is about a bug with another plugin where the wrong shipping method was being selected. Those are two very different issues.
