Compatibility Astra WP theme? Popup not showing, screen freezes

    Hey guys,

    I have pop-up maker installed on several websites and since the update to WP5.6 I have problems with Popup-maker on several websites. Meaning when I activate an automatic open pop-up, the screen will freeze, but the pop-up itself is not showing.

    Now when I deprecate JQuery, all is fine and the pop-up is showing. I have put off all other plugins, but it keeps happening. So can you help me in any way?

    I use the Astra theme…

    We are happy to assist you with your concern. Could you please revert the jQuery and add this CSS on your Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
    .pum-overlay.pum-active,
    .pum-overlay.pum-active .popmake.active {
    opacity: 1 !important;
    display: block !important
    }

    Will this be “fixed” in a new update or do I just need to use this code with every website?

    I’m glad everything is now working on your sites.

    @franoordman for now kindly use the CSS. We have received a report that Popup Maker v1.16.0 will be released soon. You may wait for the new version or if you are interested in testing the beta version, you may download the file here.

    You can upload the beta version as a normal plugin within any WordPress site. Please note that it is never recommended to test beta versions on live sites. Please test only on staging or dev sites.
