Core Web Vitals CLS alerts on Google Page Speed Insights

I’d like to bring your attention to this:

The media vine grow plugin is causing Core Web Vitals CLS alerts on Google Page Speed insights.

Specifically:

Avoid non-composited animations (number) animated elements found:

‘Animations which are not composited can be janky and increase CLS. Learn more’ https://web.dev/non-composited-animations/

  etc – similar warnings for each social media share button.

  All of the above can be replicated by using the mediavine grow (social pug) plugin on a fresh WordPress install with the 2021 theme and viewing on the Chrome browser, and testing using Google Page Speed Insights.

  Question – is there a) a way of turning off the animation to avoid these alerts? or b) a fix that could be appended to the plugin code to resolve this?
