For the time being, the plugin only includes label functionality (in addition to Automated Tax calculations), but front-end/live rate calculations is something that was previously included and we are working on offering again (and expanding) with a future update.
However, for the time being, many sites use a separate shipping method plugin for customer rates (like our USPS Shipping Method extension) and use WooCommerce Shipping & Tax for the label purchases, as it doesn’t require ‘pre-paying’ into an account and each label is individually charged (as they are needed). Additionally, we pass along the discounts to merchants like you, which can help save the business quite a bit of money (compared to the regular costs).
