Strange conflict with Slide Any Post and Pods – Custom Content Types and Fields

When Post Type Switcher is activated, sliders created with Slide Any Post are converted to the post type that they were set to display and cease to be sliders. The appears to only happen when they are saved the second time, ie after an edit.
Deactivating Post Type Switcher does solve the issue.
