Picture sometime missing in LinkedIn and Facebook

    Thanks for a very nice plugin.

    When I share a facebook or linkedin link, the post only semester to shows a picture from my blog sometimes not allways. Is it possible to fix?

    Facebook only uses the URL of the page for its sharing link–data such as images are pulled from your source code. Facebook looks for images there with an Open Graph meta-tag. LinkedIn also only uses the URL and title for sharing.

    Scriptless doesn’t add this because many SEO plugins do this already, or you can use a plugin which does just Open Graph work, so this plugin assumes you are already using one of those. Once you have the necessary meta tag added, Facebook will be able to pull in the images.

    I see that you are using an SEO plugin on your site already–I would look to see if it handles the Open Graph tags for you. Some will use the post/page featured image automatically, so making sure that each post has a featured image is a good first step.

    Many thanks for the guidance.

    Found the error in the seo plugin. There was a function for troubleshooting the image.
