• I have my multi-site instalation succesfully running on my local QNAP.
Without any reason (except for automated updates?) i got the error message:

Warning: require(/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Web/wp-includes/user.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Web/wp-settings.php on line 175

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Web/wp-includes/user.php’ (include_path=’.:/etc/config/php’) in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Web/wp-settings.php on line 175

I’m not an expert. How can I fix the problem?

  • Hey,

I got the same problem 1-2 days ago and I’m also running ma WP site on QNAP NAS. I guess it may be caused by QTS system update. Also, I’m not an expert and will be grateful for any help.

i have the same problem here with 3 qnaps ??
Each time continously reinstall wordpress solves the problem… but is back in a few days!

Also, I asked Qnap support and they treat me like an idiot ??
Can you make a how to for reinstallation for a total noob in this topic?

Guys, when I restored the snapshot of /Share directory I realized that the Malware Remover is deleting something that’s called mr2021. When I disabled MW and restored the snapshot again, my WordPress started working. So the problem is somewhere here.

    Okrey, thanks for sharing.
I also noticed it but still have to test.
now i actually know for sure user.php it is noted as malware. I will also lay an ticket at Qnap… but also for the pro nasses. Treatment like an idiot will not be here ??

Problem is known now by QNAP and R&D is looking for an solution.
    Will be fixed soon.

    Super!!!

@haantje72 heyy, do you have any new info? I have my malware remover off all the time to make sure, my WP is working.

I have asked again what the status is because i still did not hear about an update or if it is solved.

    Ive got answer from Qnap:

    Dear Customer,

There has been a modification in the Malware remover on this issue and this been released and R&D belives the issue to be fixed and is waiting for feedback if this is the case , the modifcation has been done on the last day of march.

So the problem should be solved ??
