Only show next in recurring series

    I have several recurring weekly events. When I visit my events page, I see every scheduled instance of the recurrence. Is there a way to limit the events displayed to just the next instance? For example if I have an event that happens every Wednesday, is it possible to display only the event for next Wednesday and not every instance of the event series?
