Once or twice a year our provider (name withheld) comes up with, “maintenance work on server”. During those usually three days, things work very shaky, unsteady. White pages, the whole website doesn’t show up, to name a view.
Question is, is there an online tool to check if the database server of your provider is working properly? Thanks for any information!

If you can use phpMyAdmin to see your database then the database server would be working.

Yes, I can see the database with phpMyAdmin. When using https://www.servercheck.me/website-not-working/result.php it says, this server seems to be offline.

A web-site not working is different than a database server not working. The web-site is using web-server software such as Apache and that could mean Apache is not running or the Apache server is not running.

Might be time to consider a new hosting arrangement.

Yes, it says MySQL server seems to be offline. But still I can access my database via phpMyAdmin.

If you can use phpMyAdmin to access your database, then I’d guess that your blog should be working unless the web-server is not working.
