Thanks for opening a support topic. As with your other support topic the reason your hero post won’t work in AMP URLs is due to it’s custom JavaScript usage.
As opposed to a hero post there are other plugins that you can use such as the JetPack slideshow block or the default Gutenberg gallery to highlight specific images or in some cases content, not to mention the amp-carousel component.
If you’re using the plugins validation tool you can also find any other third party plugin related or theme incompatibilities, while choosing a course of action which may include keeping or rejecting any validation issues highlighted.
