Tag link take me to an empty page

    I have designed and built my own theme from scratch (see it here: https://keithneilson.co.uk/ ) and while everything seems to be working properly clicking on a link for a tag ( either from the post or the sidebar widget) takes me to what looks like a category page (generated by category.php) but with nothing on it.

    The address each link points to is correct https://keithneilson.co.uk/tag/<tagname> but it doesn’t work properly.

    Category links work as normal, and I can’t see anything in tag.php which could be causing the error.

  • Have you tried removing tag.php from the theme to confirm that the error is in the template file?

    I did that with no difference, then I had the thought to go through my plugins and see what might be conflicting with WordPress’s built in tag system.

    Jerome’s Keywords was the culprit
