Contact Form 7 – Does not generate any feedback when sending

  • Hallo,
    Since the last update of Wordpess to 5.7 the plugin Contact Form 7 does not work properly. When clicking Send, the page gets stuck in a continuous loop without generating a response, e.g. Email sent successfully, Please fill in mandatory fields.
    If the form is filled correctly, the mail is sent. However, since there is no response, we receive the mails x times, as many times as the users click on the send button.

  • Downgrade to CF7 ver 5.3.2.

    There are a few ongoing errors with Cf7 ver 5.4.

    @avniy did downgrading to vers 5.3.2 also help with the contact form not submitting with the circle just spinning? Thanks!

    I have the same problem since the latest update. The form is showing an hourglass and not responding. This contactform plugin was untill now a great plugin, and I am dissappointed. I hope that this problem is solved by a new update. Otherwise I am thinking about changing to another contactform plugin.

    @avniy, I agree with you it needs a fix. The steps you mentioned are a short term solution, which doesn’t feel comfortable for me. I hope they fix it very soon, otherwise I wil make a switch to another contactform plugin.

    How do I down grade???

    Hi there,
    after 4 month the plugin still shows the same problems on my websites.
    1. When do you expect the problems will be solved and
    2. how can I downgrade the plugin? Do I have to installe an older version? Do I have to delete the new version? Will my form settings be safe?
