• I have all of my plugins disabled yet I don’t have the option to convert reusable blocks to regular blocks. I built my website with 5.7, so this is not an upgrade issue.

    I am using Stackable and Kadence Blocks.

  • I have figured it out! “Convert to Regular Block” has been removed from the 3 dot menu… now you need to click on the block icon on the top left of the item and hit the page looking icon a bit to the right. I have a screenshot of this but cannot it post it here. Feel free to reach out to me by leaving a comment below… I will be notified as I am subscribing to this thread.

    @sashaloobkoff thanks for explaining this, couldn’t figure out where the option had gone – no idea who the hell is in charge of WordPress UX but they need sacking! ??

    @zigojacko, thanks for thanks. It is amazing in development and design how many “rabbit holes” you fall into. Some take hours to figure out. This one is pretty needless.

    I spend hours trying to figure this out. Thanks for sharing. Take my time waisted and multiply by a million users. That’s a million hours lost because of a totally unnecessary change that absolutely makes zero sense. Why devs could not leave “Convert to regular block” in three dot menu really beats me. Totally unintuitive and a great example of how time is waisted unnecessarily. I bet thousands have stopped using “Reusable Blocks” cause they couldn’t figure out how to unlink.

    That was a nightmare to work out but thanks for the tips. Why is there not more information on this simple trick. Thanks again for the info

    @sashaloobkoff
    Haha! It’s the “page looking” icon is the duplicate/copy icon. Such a bad icon choice by WP! makes no sense.

    I am completely flabbergasted that I can’t figure this out.

    I still don’t see where to find the Unlink button, can someone send me an image or video?

    Am I retarded?

    I feel your pain. Send me your email and I will email you a screenshot. Actually, write me here: [email protected]
