Can’t update my website!

    While working on my website, I’ve run into a series of major problems
    1) Scheduled posts don’t publish (an error message that says “Missed Schedule” appears within my “Edit Posts” page.
    2) I am unable to add links. I write them and click save, but they don’t appear anywhere.
    3) I am unable to save new posts. After writing and clicking “save”, they don’t appear within Edit Posts or on my Dashboard.

    1. Upgrade to 2.9.2 if you haven’t already.

    2 & 3: Try:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
