Hi there, I have two tables on a page that I created months ago. The tables are two-column tables; the first column has the image of a person, and the second column has their biography (there are multiple rows in each table). These two tables have the same settings and same formatting. I have made no changes to any of these tables, or to the page on which the tables are on. However, all of a sudden, one of the tables is displaying weirdly/incorrectly on desktop computers – the column with the images is very very narrow, so the images are tiny/nearly invisible. This behavior persists across multiple browsers. It seems to display fine on mobile.

I have made absolutely no changes to the table or the page in months; this problem just appeared within the last week. Was there a bug in a recent update that might have caused this? I am up-to-date with version 1.10.7.

How do I fix this? I attempted to play around with settings in the table settings/editor, but can’t figure out why this is happening or how to fix it – or why it is only happening in one table but not the other.

Thank you so much for the help, and kind regards,
    Alison

    Hi, @alison8
Thank you for contacting us regarding your issue!
As we can see, everything is fine with the table now.
Please clarify whether the problem is still relevant?

    Best wishes,

Hi there Ole, thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate the help.

The problem still is occurring. The table is displaying in incorrectly in Chrome, Safari, and Opera on desktop. I checked this across multiple computers. For some reason it seems to display correctly in Firefox – so I’m not sure if you were looking at the page in Firefox?

When I go into my WordPress dashboard to view/edit the tables, the two tables preview differently when I load the preview of the table “Settings” tab – the table showing the images at the correct size looks normal in the preview. The table showing the images very small doesn’t even show the images at all in the preview. This is despite the fact that in the “Editor” section of editing the tables, the tables both look the same and have the same settings. In the Editor section, the images look just fine.

What might be going on and how do we fix it?

    Thanks again,
    Alison

What does it look like on your preview and how on Front.
For our part, we do not see the problem.

    Hi Ole,

Sure thing, here are some screenshots. for each set, I’ll post the incorrectly-viewing table first, and the correct one second.

Again, just as a reminder, I have made no changes to these tables or the page on which the tables exist in months. Until last week the tables displayed correctly – then all of a sudden, one of them started displaying incorrectly.
