Unable to get shortcode generator to work

    I have this plugin working effectively on two websites (an issue raised 3 months ago on one of them was resolved!). I have just installed it on a 3rd website to use as a grid on an archive page that I have created for the blog category with the post title, featured image and excerpt. However, when I go to the shortcode generator, select all the options and click on Generate Shortcode, it doesn’t generate a code, it doesn’t save and it reverts to the main plugin screen. I have tried adding the default shortcode [featured_image_pro ] to the page and it is showing the featured images of all the posts that have featured images.
    I have tried putting the website in a staging environment, deactivating all plugins apart from Featured Image Pro Grid and Classic Editor, and changing the theme to Twenty Twenty, but that hasn’t made any difference.
    I am using WP 5.7 and Featured Image Pro Grid 5.10. I am not getting the JSON issue previously reported.

    Hi, interesting as I saw this two versions ago and presumably fixed it. Can you tell me which options you are trying to set? It might be a JavaScript issue that is caused by one of the options.

    Hi. Thanks for your reply.
    I don’t think it makes any difference which options you select. If I don’t add any options, leave everything as the default settings and click on Generate Code it does this. If I simply check the Show Excerpts box it does it, also if I change the gutter from 5 to 10.

    If you don’t enter anything, it won’t do anything.

    I will take a look at it. I think that the short code generator in the widget will work for basic stuff in the meantime.

    I am not able to duplicate this. What browser are you using?

    Do you know how to view the console in the inspector? In chrome, right click/inspector. When it opens up, click on the console ta.

    Do this right after clicking ‘generate shortcode’ and if you can, look for an error in red, copy and paste what is in the console and send it to me at [email protected]

    Ah, I just tried it on another site and was able to duplicate it.

    Strange. I just uploaded the version that I have that is working. Please let me know if it fixes the issue for you.

    I generally use Firefox so tried in Chrome with the same result. So I checked the console – here is a Screenshot

    I have just seen the update and applied it, but am still unable to use the shortcode generator ??

    Thank you. That explains the issue. I don’t know why it’s happening but I know what is happening. This should be fixed soon.
