Is it possible to add a user text input option on a woocommerce product

Is it possible when setting-up a product to include input boxes whereby the shopper inputs some text – i.e. the colour of their vehicle to all us to provide best colour match product when we come to pick the product for order fulfillment or would we we have to put all of our possible colour options as a selectable drop-down?
