Change URL for sharing icons on Thank-You-page?

  • Hello Robin!
    I’m adding your social buttons only to the thank you page which pops up after subscribing to a newsletter. It would be great if I could change the URL of the sharing buttons to my main page. Is that possible?

    Hi Mandy, yes, that is possible with some code. You’ll want to look at the scriptlesssocialsharing_get_permalink filter, which allows you to modify the permalink used (in your example, to use the main page URL instead of the specific thank you page). There are multiple parameters passed so you can make the change be conditional, if you decide that in the future you may want to also add the buttons dynamically to posts, or anything like that.
