I’d really like to know which RSS aggregate this site uses: esportspress.com. Note the list of feeds on the right. Is this a plug-in? I’d love to have a feed like that on my site on a dedicated page. How would I do this?

    Thanks in advance guys.
    P

    Use the native RSS widget?

    Hey,

Thanks for the reply. However, the native RSS widget only enables my own RSS feed. For example, when you click on the widget in my sidebar, you get this page, which is a feed of information from my blog: https://fragtacular.com/feed.

Also, I’d like to have a whole page dedicated to a news feed from RSS sources of my choosing.

    Any other ideas?

    Cheers,
    P

Heh, heh, heh… I used the Feed WordPress plugin.

    Yea!

I’d like a list of just headlines, and in only one category (like https://eSportsPress.com ).

Is there a way to do that with the Feed WordPress plugin? I want it on its own news page if possible.

    Thanks SS_Minnow

It depends on your theme and how it displays posts and excerpts.

Ok. I got Feedwordpress running, but how do i get it on a specific page? I don’t want it on my home page.

    Thanks again Minnow!

If your home page is your main blog page the posts that are brought in by the plugin will appear there. You can make your home page use a Page Template that will only show posts from categories that you have created, but that gets a bit more involved.

Looks like you can’t. As mentioned below. Bummer.

Looks like Parteibuch RSS Aggregator allows you to specify a page, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to work it. Can’t seem to get it to bring in information from feeds and/or post them on the page.

    Never tried that one.

Got it figured out. You can check out how it looks on the News Feed page of my site, Fragtacular.com.

Problem was getting the correct RSS URLs.

Still tinkering with it; I’d like to clean up the looks a little.

Good to know that there is another feed plugin that behaves that way.

    Hey pcarrell,
How did you customize the feed output the way you did?
I know there’s a custom field for that but do you know what markup language to use there?
