    Hi,
We have been testing the free version before buying the pro version.
We have encountered one issue and was wondering if you can help. The profile search works great when we are connected as admin but the search option is not displayed when connected with another level permission. We have the latest version installed Version 2.1.16 and checked for a plugin conflict.
    Can you please help?

  • Have you resolved this yet? I’d be a non logged in visitor and the search option shows up for me. Little slow loading but it is there.

I’m curious how you are setting up your courses. Are you using something within wordpress like a plugin or just using um to sign up for off site material?

    Hello,
    Thank you for your reply.
I am using LearnPress and BuddyPress plugin to set up the courses. I am using UM to manage the users, access and user level.
When logged in as a user the search option is visible but for non-logged-in users, the search option is non-visible. I tried it from different network and computer but the search option is not visible for non-signed users.
    Thank you

    @amang

I am a non-logged-in-user and the search option is visible for me also.

Your site is not secure with https
because the members page contains insecure items
    probably the user images.

Install the “Really Simple SSL” plugin
which will make all items secure on your site.

Might also consider clearing your browser cache and/or flushing your dns. It’s amazing how many times that turns out to be the issue and not a coding issue lol. Just worth a try to rule it out, if nothing else.

But non logged in people can see the search option…unless there’s some other search option aside from the one that says “search members” in the field.

I will say that for me at least the site is really slow loading.

    Hi @amang

The search form is also showing up on our end. Could you please provide a screenshot of your Member Directory settings?

    Hi Everyone,
Thank you all for the reply. The issue must be from my end then if you are all able to see it. Will try the options suggested above.

    Hi @champsupertramp
Is there a way of sending you the screenshot? because I don’t think it allows you to send pictures from here?
    Thank you

@amang you can use https://imgur.com/ and post the link here

@amang You have two plugins for membership pages!

    BuddyPress members: https://quick2learn.online/members/
    Ultimate Members: https://quick2learn.online/members-2/

UM was installed after BP so WP made the UM page name members-2.

You pointed us to the BP membership page in the thread start where search is active. Depending on which membership page you visit there is with/without search field. There are different users in the two membership directories too.

UM Search seems to be disabled.

Enable Search feature for UM and it’s options for roles in Ultimate Member Directories settings.

    Hi @missveronicatv
    Thanks for your help.
This is my first time using BP and UM. I am trying to figure out how it all works. I thought I needed the BP to use the UM and the plugins were sync.
Can I just use the UM without the BP for membership?
    Thanks

    Hi @amang

Yes, UM works independently. Please see this documentation:
