Good day, for some reason when trying to use critical css to eliminate render blocking assets (only css), the cls on gtmetrix/psi rises.

Any way i can fix this?

How are you adding your critical CSS; manually (in “above the fold CSS”) or using the criticalcss.com integration on the “critical CSS” tab?

    im adding it manually

it seems it not reading the critical css which causes the layout shift

so i added the style using a third party plugin, i could see it being added inline in the html, but the fcp increases a lot, its showing now to eliminate render blocking assets from autoptimize

try “inline & defer CSS” while adding the critical CSS with that third party plugin maybe (although I do not see how “it is not reading the critical css” would happen)?

generally when you get CLS it means the “above the fold CLS” is insufficient, try generating it elsewhere or tweak it manually?

mmm maybe its because of the above the fold css, i was using a free site to generate critical css

    Thank you ??
