I’m bad, I broke my comments

  • I recently upgraded to the latest nightly, and apparently my comments stopped working. I’ve gone over all things comment with a fine toothed comb, and still can’t seem to figure out what I did. I’ve searched the forums. My site works fine, but when you click on comments, the page refreshes and no comments are displayed, just the post and the line below the post. I’ve made sure that comments are on, and I have Spaminator installed, but comments do the same thing whether the plug-in is active or not. I’m at a loss as how to troubleshoot this, as I’ve already copied over my installation and upgraded my site.
    Anybody have any ideas?

    Ehh, I figured it out. It was something to do with themes…

    Actually, I didn’t…now I can see the comments submission form, but the comments will not actually submit.

    Did you move from 1.2.2 to 1.5? If so, did you delete all of your old files and then upload the 1.5 files?

    I did move up, but I think I just copied over everything and then ran upgrade.php.

    The comments seem to be going off into the ether. They’re not showing up in mySQL database after I submit them. Is there any error log I could look at that might give me some debugging clues?
