    Hello,

When a customer/user logs in to their account via the frontend, does the 2FA verification field appear on the frontend WooCommerce login or does it take you to the default WordPress backend to input the 2FA verification code?

Thank you for showing interest in our plugin @carmpocalypse

When users login from any custom / frontend login pages, upon successful authentication they are redirected to the default WordPress backend page to enter the 2FA code, and after that they are redirected back to the frontend. The plugin fully supports custom frontend login forms, post login redirects etc.

May I ask why you are asking about this? I’d like to learn about your setup so we see if it is something that we support.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I read the features for the plugin and like everything that I had read. I am looking to shift to a new two-factor plugin that offers a little more than what I am currently using. I run an eCommerce website and would like to offer the option for my customers to enable 2FA via their ‘My Account’ page. Your plugin does that (via shortcode) and the one I am using does not. Your plugin actually offers quite a bit, for free.

About the 2FA code being filled via the WordPress backend, I was also interested in looking at the possibility if this plugin did it via the frontend on the WooCommerce login. You answered my question by stating it redirects to the WordPress backend. In my opinion, it would look and feel better aesthetically if it was a feature for the frontend.

Anyway, I will be using your plugin from now on. After reading the reviews and reading through the support topics, I feel like you and your team at WP White Security are very informative, supportive and knowledgeable. Making a 2FA plugin compatible with WooCommerce out of the box (even if 2FA authentication redirects to WordPress backend) and giving the amount of support and updates you guys do is something I won’t pass up.

Also, sorry. I forgot to mention, I use Sucuri WAF with my setup and have the /wp-login.php page restricted. Would that be an issue with the 2FA verification when it redirects to the backend? I haven’t tested it yet, thought I might ask first if this was a previous issue with someone else.

I tested 2FA using the restricted page on /wp-login.php via Sucuri Firewall and the redirect to WordPress backend to enter the 2FA verification code gets blocked by the firewall. However, I had the page restriction set to password protection, which of course, only myself and another admin have. I since changed it to Sucuri’s Captcha protection as a solution for the redirect to hit the backend so users can enter the 2FA code. So that issue is resolved. Everything else works perfectly. Thanks for the amazing plugin.

Thank you for the detailed explanation and I am glad to hear everything is working now @carmpocalypse

By the way, we are planning to make the 2FA code page fully customizable and available via a custom URL, so anyone with a setup like yours does not have to make any changes.

Thank you for using our plugin and for the review. We really appreciate it. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Have a great weekend.
