• When I include links in a post, some of them automatically populate as embeds – but how can I make them open in a new tab?

Alternatively, I’ve tried to add the link manually and then delete these embeds, but it seems impossible to delete them, as they are not clickable on the draft page and don’t seem to operate as “blocks”.

I have also tried installing plugins to force links to open on a new tab, but they don’t have any effect on these embeds.

    Can anyone help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @nataliemin regards ??

Could you tell me what kind of WordPress versión are you using?

Because when you are creating a link in WordPress there is a checkbox in the old WordPress versión and a switch in the new version where you can activate open in the same windows or in a new windows your link.

Thanks for your reply Andres. The problem is that the “Open in new tab” link doesn’t appear with embeds. However I’ve worked out how to get rid of embeds.

Great! @nataliemin don’t forget mark like a solved the topic. ??
