High load on Worpress MU 2.8.4 Server

  • We experience high average load with wordpress 2.8.4a on Linux RedHat (4 servers, 5 000 000 page views/month). Most of the time there are spikes of server load on one server but sometimes, during peak hours, all server have very high load causing timeout on our site. We have cached our pages with Super cache and we use partial caching to improve response time for logged users.

    As I can see, we are not the only one with this issue :

    Nobody seems to have posted a solution to that issue. Somebody have found new information about this issue ?

    Is this issue still in WordPress MU 2.9.2 ?
