WordPress 5.4 Not Installing – Error occurred while installing Ocean Extra

That’s not an official WP distribution site. It seems like your host may be doing something so I’d ask their support. Or go to https://www.ads-software.com/download/releases/ and use the 5.4.4 zip to do a manual update.

Why not go to 5.7?

I tried uploading a zipped version of 5.7 and it didn’t work either. Thanks for the response.

You have to unzip it before uploading! Please read the manual update procedure (though your really have to do only step #1).

I’m going into my CPanel with Bluehost and trying to upload, but it isn’t allowing me to upload a directory like’wp-admin’ or ‘wp-includes’.

Please contact your hosting support or try using FTP to upload.

Follow the suggestion Steven said, do you face errors updating other plugins besides ocean extra? If not, contact with ocean extra support. They may be able to help you out.
