Does not restore

  • I tried restoring database by clicking restore it took some time and displayed that database restored successfully. But on checking the front end I could still see new entries. I downloaded the databse file and used phpmyadmin to import the backup and it was restored correctly. Please check what’s the issue.
    IO am using latest WP and latest wp databse backup plugin.

    Restore button allow you to restore deleted rows data.
    it wan’t updated changed data. For complete restore you need to restore via phpmyadmin.

    Does not restore properly.

    I did a backup using your tool. Then saved the file to my local computer. uploaded it to my new server and attempted to copy the sql file into MariaDB using the following command:

    mysql -u root -p databaseName < databaseName_May1_2021_db-1.sql

    It did not load properly. I got this error.

    ERROR 1366 (22007) at line 554: Incorrect string value: ‘\xF0\x9F\xA5\x81″ …’ for column databaseName.wpqr_options.option_value at row 1

    I attempted twice to create the database backup to see if it would write properly the second time. But that did not work.
    I have been able to load older sql files that have not been created by your plug-in. i really hope this is a simple problem.

    OS: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
    MariaDB: 10.4.15-MariaDB-1:10.4.15+maria~bionic-log
    Wordpress:5.7.1

    What should I do?
