“No items matching your description” on translated page – Polylang

    I have the same issue as a user on a closed thread an I’m thinking the issue s/he had was also related to a plug-in I use (polylang): https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/no-items-showing-up/#post-14284701

    Display of VP works fine in the english front end, however the plugin POLYLANG will display “no items were found matching your description” in the translated page in German.

    Disabling the “polylang” plug-in by WP SYNTEX solves the issue for the German version of the page and VP displays fine. However this also disables all of the multilingual website content. I would appreciate any tips about a work-around or a fix for the issue.

    Personally I wouldn’t mind, if the portfolio was only in one language, but maybe there is an easy fix to the problem for other users too?

    Hey.

    Our plugin supports the WPML plugin (and I think it is automatically should work with Polylang). Since you display your site in DE, you should also have translated to DE portfolio items.

    Currently, I only see works in EN. For example, If I open this page https://www.geraldjmoerth.com/portfolio/the-inhabitable-skin/ and then switch language to DE, I will be redirected outside of this portfolio item. This means, that it has not translated to DE.
