Feature Request: Dependent Fields?

    Suppose you want to add meta of “Food Available” to allow restaurants to choose which foods they have for sale (German Food, Pizza, etc). I also want to have “Services Offered” where tradesmen can select which services they provide (Electrical, Landscaping, etc.).

    I only want to show “Foods Available” on the listing form if they select Category:Restaurant, and I only want to show “Services Offered” if they select Category:Maintenance.

    I think this could be accomplished on the front-end with just a little bit of javascript.

    That’s not possible without customization.

    Or you can use the CPT add-on and have a different form for each, which is how the system is designed to work.

    Having too many custom fields on 1 CPT is not a good idea for scalabiliy.

    I also like the idea of @oguruma ! Perhaps your developer team could consider this modification for the next plugin update, @paolo ! That would be great!
