Very flexible…Question on mobile menu display

I agree with most that this theme is proving to be a very flexible fit. I’m early in discovering the options, but I am experiencing something unexpected with the display of the mobile menu. The text links are placed in the middle of the cover blocks that I have at the top of each page. Is this the intended design?
