    Hello,

I’ve been searching for months and also searched through all of the code and cannot figure it out.

I’m wanting to update the Order Items panel.

I’d like to allow it so if I click the image, a lightbox appears and allows me to view the image in a larger preview. Or at the very least, be able to open a large preview in a new tab.

I’d also like to change the link for the item title. Clicking the link should take you to view the item on the front end and instead show a pencil icon at the title end which, after clicking on it, would take you to the edit page.

I’ve searched for so long to no avail.

    Please could anyone help?

Kind regards and thanks in advance!

  • Hello @mikram4 ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please specify which order items panel you are referring to? WooCommerce shows order items in the admin panel as well as in customers’ my-account page. If you can specify for which page you want these changes, we can suggest you properly.

You can also share a screenshot of the page that you are referring to, You can use https://snipboard.io/ to share a screenshot.

    Thank you ??

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am referring to the order panel found in the admin dashboard.

I have attached a screenshot of what ‘order panel’ I am referring to: https://prnt.sc/11bugdq

I would love to be able to update this image size and make it clickable. While we are here, is it possible for me to also change the customer details section (found on the same page – “Order #0000 Details”).

I would like to update the size of the text and also make it so when I click a piece of information (like Name) it automatically copies it to the clipboard (similar to eBay).

Kind regards and thanks in advance.

    Hello @mikram4

    Sorry it has been awhile.

Unfortunately, the Edit Order screen is not configurable in default WooCommerce, and I’m not aware of any plugins that do what you are asking to recommend.

As a tip, you can view the thumbnail image a bit larger in a new tab by right-clicking (or CTRL-Click on Mac) on the image and selecting Open Image in New Tab, or your browser’s equivalent:

As far as viewing the front-end product and having an ‘edit’ pencil icon by the item name, that isn’t an available feature. For now, you must click through to the edit product screen and then click the permalink from that page.

It would be great to have you add your ideas to the Ideas Board, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

If you want help creating a custom solution, you can try contacting a developer. I recommend the WooCommerce Customizations Page as a place to start.

Since this isn’t a feature of WooCommerce at this time, I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks for your patience!
