    Dear team,

    we have noticed that there is a bug with the status and don’t know to what is happing here.

    Workflow:

    – Customer orders via bamk transfer.
    – Order has the status “on hold
    – Customer pays
    – We set the order to “In process”
    – Now the order is treated as “In Process” in Woocommerce “Orders” (clicking on the “In Process” filter will list the order.

    Error:

    However, the order keeps the label “on hold” in the overview. So orders with the label “on hold” appear in the “in process” overview filter.

    If you go into the order, the status “on hold” is also selected in the dropdown menu above the position table.

    However, in the history of the order (on the right side of an order) there is a note “Ordering changed from “on hold” to “in process””.

    We currently do not know how often this error occurs. Screenshots will follow.
    Versions:

    Woocommerce 5.1
    Wordpress latest version 5.7

    Are you aware of something like this?

  • Hey @espox,

    That’s a new one for me. So you’re finding that changing the order status from on hold to processing doesn’t “stick” so to speak. It’s mentioned in the notes, but the status goes back to on hold. Is that right?

    Could you send over screenshots of an order where this happens?

    Also, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.
