    Hi,

I don’t know why, but on some invoices, product metadata are randomly missing.
Do you know what could cause this kind of issues ?

    Hi @jeromebart,

Could you install the WooCommerce Store toolkit plugin?
This would allow you to look for this field in the order details screen (order back-end) to see if this meta data is actually in the order.

After installing the plugin, you will see something like this in the order back-end upon scrolling down:

If some orders contain it while others do not, that is an indication to me that some orders that are missing the meta data. Our plugin takes the information it displays from WooCommerce & that data should be visible in the order back-end. ??

Hi, thank you for your quick reply !

I can confirm that the data is also missing from the order when this happens.
The problem is not product related, as in most orders the data for the same product is displayed correctly.

I don’t understand why it is so random.

    Hey @jeromebart,

Did you create a custom template, apply some CSS or is that how your invoices look by default? I just want to rule out the chance that we might be talking about different plugins. Forgive me if we aren’t.

It’s a custom template, I followed the instruction from the documentation.

    @jeromebart,

    You said:

“I can confirm that the data is also missing from the order when this happens.”

This would indicate to me that it isn’t due to our plugin that the data is missing. Our plugin grabs its information from WooCommerce, so I’m wondering if you have something that is modifying or disturbing the checkout process in some way.

Do you have some orders that were created in the order back-end & others that were created via the website’s checkout page?

No there is no order form the backend…
I would say it’s happening 1 ou of 10-20 orders. I have noticed that the problem often occurs 1 or 2 times out of 10 orders for the customers in question

I tried many times to reproduce the issues but I didn’t manage to.

I think it’s maybe related to client side conditions or slow server/site response, I don’t know if those are viable lead ?
