[NSFW] Tags Showing up as URL Parameters

What theme are you using?
I would grep the theme for this string:
add_query_arg
or
add_rewrite_tag
or perhaps in your functions file?

This builds the query strings in the url:
https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/add_query_arg/
or:
https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/add_rewrite_tag/

and this removes them:
https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/remove_query_arg/

There could also be something in your htaccess file.

Also, if you are using custom post types, the URL structure can be defined when they are registered.

Thank you. It’s a custom-developed theme, and the developer was, let’s say, not great. Couldn’t find those in functions; I’ll get FTP so I can look at htaccess.
